The 2026 Wood River Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 10:30 am. The official line-up will begin at 9:30 am. The Parade begins at Emerick Sports Complex on Sixth Street, proceeds south on Sixth Street to Ferguson Avenue, west on Ferguson Avenue to Wood River Avenue moving north to finish at the Recreation Center.
Please remember, the parade is for the children. All entries should be in the Halloween theme. Any advertising should be secondary to decorations and costumes. This does not apply to antique and emergency vehicles.
We request that no campaign materials be distributed.
There will be (3) $200 float prizes awarded near the end of the parade route. No prizes will be distributed at Central Park at the completion of the parade to minimize the congregation of participants. The Roundhouse parking lot will remain available for use after the parade to assist groups/floats with pick-up locations.
Line-up assignments will be emailed and posted online by October 28, 2026.
