The 2025 Wood River Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 10:30 am. The official line-up will begin at 9:30 am. The Parade begins at Emerick Park on Sixth St, proceeds south on Sixth to Ferguson Ave, west on Ferguson to First Street, then north on First Street ending at the intersection of First Street and Carringer Place.
Please remember, the parade is for the children. All entries should be in the Halloween theme. Any advertising should be secondary to decorations and costumes. This does not apply to antique and emergency vehicles.
We request that no campaign materials be distributed.
There will be (3) $200 float prizes awarded near the end of the parade route. No prizes will be distributed at Central Park at the completion of the parade to minimize the congregation of participants. The Roundhouse parking lot will remain available for use after the parade to assist groups/floats with pick-up locations.
Line-up assignments will be emailed by October 22, 2025.
