Services Overview
 The
City of Wood River believes in a customer service and
accountability approach to delivering services to its
approximately 11,300 residents and more than 400 businesses.
The City provides many services with the most recognized ones
being water, sewer, street maintenance, recreation, police and
fire protection. The quality and way these services are
delivered has a direct impact on everyday life in our
community.
The City believes services should be provided to all in a
courteous manner with employees, departments and the City
Council being held accountable for using public funds in the
most economical fashion. With a more than $13 million
annual budget and 79 full-time employees, the City Council
continues to provide the level of services that the taxpayers
expect.
