Fred Coffler
Chief Coffler was fatally injured in an accident on board ship in the Phillipine area.

He was at Pearl Harbor at the time of the Japanese attack and had participated in many of the major battles in the Pacific. He had served aboard 4 ships, including the USS Indiana and USS Porter during his long service in the Navy.

OTHER FAMILY: Sister - Mrs. Cora Brown of Wood River

FUNERAL SERVICES: St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with Father E. J. Douglas officiating.
