Clark
William Clark was the American soldier and
explorer who, with Meriwether Lewis, led an expedition through
the American Northwest in search of an overland route through
the Louisiana Purchase to the Pacific Ocean. The expedition
embarked from St. Louis, Missouri, in 1804, and ended there
two years later.
