Ordinance Article 8
The City looks to give
residential developers more flexibility by providing PUD's
within our MR-5 zoning district. This district allows
for a variety of mixed-use options to achieve the desire of
preserving open space areas and creating common places.
Commercial developments proposed within the district should be
to the primary benefit of the PUD. These uses will be
approved by the Council and should not exceed 5,000 square
feet. Within any PUD, the City expects strong covenants
to ensure the maintenance of the entire area. Five sets
of plans, one of which should be a reproducible plan no larger
than 11 x 17, should be submitted for review.
